Plain interface that focuses on functionality
The application does not excel through its looks, presenting a rather dull graphical user interface. Instead, it focuses on functionality. You can manually select the proper HFS device or ask the tool to autodetect all compatible drives and simply choose one from a list. You should know that HFSExplorer 0.23 Serial Key warns you that hybrid CD-ROMs with both HFS+ and ISO file systems are not supported.

A lightweight, yet powerful application that can seamlessly read and extract files from Mac-formatted hard disks and disk images HFSExplorer 0.23.1 pin is a software application that addresses users who want to access data on their Mac OS hard drives from their Windows-based computers. If you connect a HFS-formatted hard drive to a Windows PC and don't use special tools, the drive's contents cannot be read. Specialized software like this one break this barrier and make the files and folders accessible.
A tool for reading HFS drives on Windows
Mac uses an HFS, HFS+ OR HFSX file system and this program can read it, so if you have an external hard drive you will be able to easily connect it to your computer and browse all of its content (this doesn’t mean that you are going to be able to run a Mac application on Windows). It offers a file browser which allows you to extract content, see detailed information on the volume and create drive images. Meanwhile, this program allows you to read most of the drive images created on a Mac, including compressed or encrypted images. But its functions don’t stop at hard drives. As we mentioned earlier, it also compatible with HFS+, the file system used by Apple devices like iPod. So, from Windows you will be able to easily read its content.
- Tested on x64 XP and Vista
- You can only extract files, but that’s all I need to do
- In order to work with Win7 need to install Windows XP Mode (it obviously also words in Windows XP SP3).
- After trying 8 others, this is the only one that I found that would open a pass word protected MAC DMG on windows – with great ease. It’s free and very simple to use.
- You can see the Mac partition while in Windows mode..
- You cannot write to the Mac partition while in Windows mode..
HFSExplorer 0.23 patch can also read most .dmg / .sparsebundle disk images created on a Mac, including zlib / bzip2 compressed images and AES-128 / AES-256 encrypted images. It supports the partition schemes Master Boot Record, GUID Partition Table and Apple Partition Map natively. HFSExplorer 0.23.1 Activation Key can be a useful tool if you use an Intel Mac running Windows with Boot Camp. It gives you the ability to access files on the Mac OS X volume. It can also be useful if you have a HFS+-formatted iPod, that you need to access content from within the Windows environment.

When I select the correct partition for it to recognize my hard drive, why does it come up saying “Can’t Find Handler for Partition Type”? In your video tutorial the same thing happens but there’s no explanation or if there is anything to do to fix that.
You encounter the message when you’re trying to open an unsupported partition. However, the users on the support form said that the application contains errors. You might need to use another application for this operation. You can browse the database of Software Informer to download other applications.
