5.16.0.0 has a tab entitled GoogleMap. The implication is that Exif GPS data will be used to locate the the site of the photo on a Google Map. The tab appears to be non-functional. If so, is there a plan to activate this feature?

The installer was merrily installing all kinds of files so I cancelled it. It should be able to scan ports without needing any extraneous junk.
True Image 10 and 11 does not work with motherboard with the newer Intel® P35 / ICH9 chipset. So check your board before you buy or else get stuck with it while waiting for future software releases. I’ve been waiting since True Image 10, and 11 still does not support ICH9.
