Having shortcuts to the main drive locations on the desktop makes accessing them that much easier. Desktop Media crack is a small utility that can automatically add drive icons to the main screen. The app comes with a tiny interface that is very easy to figure out. Basically, Desktop Media Full Version Activation Code saves you the time you would otherwise use to access My Computer and locate all the new drives. The app detects hard drives, CDs and DVDs, USB memory sticks and network drives and can display a shortcut to each of these. By default, the program is set to add links of the removable devices and the CD/DVD-ROM. In order to add the rest of the shortcuts, the checkboxes next to each option must be ticked from the app’s interface. Regarding the partitions of the hard drive, you can select the ones you want to ignore; if it was already present on the desktop, the link disappears immediately after the option is confirmed. Furthermore, the software has the ability to create soft links (shortcuts) or hard links (symbolic links). Also, the program can display a tray icon and save the icon positions. While the software isn’t overly complicated, it saves you some time and it could be particularly appreciated by those who keep most of their files on the desktop. The bottom line is that Desktop Media Full Version Registration Code is a nice utility that can prove to be very useful. Inexperienced users should find the program easy to install and customize, thanks to the intuitive interface and the overall simplicity of the app.

System Requirements for Desktop Media:

I have a USB drive that mounts as A (it needs a program to work). Is there a way to get Desktop Media to see the A drive? Looks like it only sees drives after C.

It’s somehow weird that a USB drive mounts as A. As far as I know, the A and B letters are reserved for floppy drives. However, it’s easier to change its letter. Therefore, go to Start and type Computer Management. Locate the Disk management section in the tree menu. Right click the USB drive and select Change drive letter and paths. Pick another letter. Accept the changes. Replug the USB drive and then you’ll have the possibility of using it in Desktop Media.
This is how it should look like:

  1. Freezes when you want to edit, less user friendly. The only reason I updated to it was that when I wanted to download certain PDF’s I was told I needed to upgrade to a current version , guess what, I spent over $300 and I am still getting the same message. Acrobat is an expensive joke with little or no support. It has been so disappointing that even wasted more of my time writing this because I’m so ticked off. Way not to take care of a loyal customer. Want to change my mind give me an update that fixes this junker and I’ll write some thing good. Oh yeah trying to install McAfee doesn’t make me any happier .

  2. This program doesn’t work! There is an icon on the Desktop which is perfectly fine. When the program is launched, a splash screen shows up. After that, it asks if you want to modify the HOSTS file. Click Yes and you get a debug error. At first I thought it was my anti-spyware. After disabling all anti-spyware programs and unloading Shaw Secure, I got the same error. The Uninstall feature is hard to find, in the Program Files directory. You have to manually delete the program’s folder in the Program Files directory (this may or may not occur).

  3. Sometimes doesn’t work well with H264 format. Each new release seems to generate the same problem where you see no duration given for H264 files.
