If you own a scanner, you might understand and appreciate the importance of having specialized applications that can help you simplify the way you interact with it through various commands. An example of such an application is Canon MF Toolbox 4.9 full version crack , which can help you unleash the full potential of your scanner, specifically your Canon scanner, by providing you with a series of useful controls.
Simplify scanning operations
Since its name is not entirely suggestive, let us fill the picture for you. As mentioned above, this program can help you consolidate the bridge between software and hardware components (namely, your Canon scanner) by giving you access to a bunch of its controls. After deploying and launching the app, you'll notice that the main window comes with eight buttons that come with intuitive descriptions, so that you can jump straight to action without looking around for more detailed instructions.
Canon MF Toolbox full version setup
Upon starting the app you will be welcomed to a truly minimalistic, but highly intuitive interface that features just a single row of big icons and a Settings button. Those icons are your shortcuts to the most common scanner functions – attach scanned document to an email, perform an OCR text scan, save the scanned document to the desired folder, save the scanned document as a PDF, and finally, four icons for custom-made scan procedures that you have set up for yourself. Settings window features basic configuration options for scanner functions (paper size, scan mode, image quality preset), file management options (default file name, output format, the default save location) and selector of the default mail program. Features and Highlights
While every scanner on the market comes with its own official manager app through which you can order your scanner to perform the desired function, those apps can from time to time be clunky, poorly designed, slow to use, and full of unnecessary options that slow the workflow. If you need to scan a large number of documents every day, those little irksome things may start affecting you more and more.
Mail, OCR, saving and PDF support
The first feature in the main screen is called "Mail' and, naturally, it makes use of your default email client to send the output of your scans to a recipient of your choice via email. Therefore, you need to make sure that the email client is properly configured before attempting to even use this feature. The second one is called OCR, which is short for Optical Character Recognition and does exactly what you'd expect: analyzes the documents you feed to your scanner and attempts to extract text from them. Unfortunately, Canon MF Toolbox For Windows Download doesn't feature an OCR component, but can feed it directly to a third-party app already available on your system. So this, too, needs to be configured beforehand. The other two functions, "Save" and "PDF" are as intuitive as the first ones, except no additional configuration is needed whenever you want to make use of them.

I have removed my Canon MF 4890dw and have installed a Canon MF 229dw. I am unable to get the scanning Toolbox software to work. It only shows the 4800 series as being available (even though it is not available) and does not show the 220 Series. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and still nothing. Any ideas appreciated.
The previous toolbox was developed to support only that product which means you will have to uninstall it completely from your computer and then download the new version created to support the Canon MF 229DW device. Access the link below and choose your operating system, then expand Software or Recommended downloads and save the new MF Toolbox to your computer. Install it, reboot the PC and then the device will be available for selection.

Canon MF Toolbox 4.9 doesn’t recognize my MF4550d scanner. Can you help?
If it doesn’t recognize your scanner, I suggest you to download and install the latest version from Canon website. Be sure that your computer runs Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7.
How can I scan more than one page into a single PDF document?
To do this, you can try to open the program, select PDF and at Save as Type choose PDF(multiple pages). This should save your scanned pages to a single PDF file with multiple pages.
Does this toolbox work with MG7100 Series?
I don’t think that Canon MF Toolbox is compatible with the MG7100 Series scanner/printer primarily because there is no version even mentioned on the Support pages. There is the support page from where you can acquire the drivers to install the software. Once the drivers are installed, you can then proceed to the installation of the Canon MF Toolbox. If you see the device in the software, then you can use it, otherwise it can’t be used.
Toolbox 4.9 stopped working once Microsoft update my OS to Windows 10. Is there a fix?
That happens because the application wasn’t developed to support Windows 10. I have checked the download page, and you can install it only on the supported versions of Windows, but not Windows 10. You can try a Compatibility mode, but that doesn’t guarantee it will work normally.
However, there is another solution from the Community forum that is known to work:
1. Go to scanner and press the scan button
2. Select “Remote Scanner”
1. Go to bottom left of screen and click the windows logo.
2. Type the word “scan”.
3. Click on the option that says “Scan Trusted Windows Store app”
4. Select correct “scanner” “source” and “filetype”
5. Press scan.
6. It will save into “My Pictures” under a folder called Scan
I think you should install it again it will be better.
