It uninstalled Freecorder – which I know for a matter of fact isn’t malware. Even though it is a toolbar, it actually WORKS, so it’s unfortunate that it is removed. However, it is a free program, so an easy install to fix.
Terrific stuff. Been using over 6 years now.
When I first downloaded Eraser some time ago, reviewers gave some warnings as to it’s use but I’ve had no problems.
If any faults exist it might be a bit faster. But for me NO problem.
It can be irritating in terms of clicking and double clicking and accidently finding yourself in the wrong screens. It also can become incredibly cluttered.
I have not experienced any to date, touch wood.

This version has some major glitches it kept freezing and shutting down my pc.
This is a good software. But, it is not working continuously.
But if it can’t do the basic job of reading a PDF then it’s no use to me. Bloated, very slow to load. I have lots of problems trying to scroll through documents where the display becomes disjointed and effectively means it is not possible to use. Reverting to version 7 !
I have an acer aspire 6530. Like many other owners of laptops my crystal eye webcam packed up after about 6 months. I tried every thing I looked on the device manager but it didn’t even show up then I looked on the Internet and spent many days looking for answers but found nothing. Then one day I broke my screen and when I took my laptop apart to fit a new screen I had to unplug my web cam once I installed the screen I turned my laptop on just to check the screen was plugged in before I connected the web cam just to make sure I had fitted the screen. I then turned it off and then pluged in the web cam then screwed the lid back on. Now my web cam works fine. So if you have done everything and still can’t get it to work then unscrew the lid and at the top by the web cam there is a little plug undo the plug turn on your laptop then turn off the laptop plug in the web cam and turn it back on and look in the device manager to see if you have got it working .It worked for me
